Controlled document workspace

Upload, process, and analyze healthcare documents in a controlled environment.

Airgap Health is an operational workspace for teams that handle PHI, clinical notes, intake paperwork, and other sensitive documents. Ingest files, generate structured outputs, and track every access and action across your organization.

Structured by default

Task-based templates produce summaries, extracted fields, and draft documentation — not free-form chat.

Accountable by design

Access history, activity logs, and retention controls at the file and user level.

PHI-aware

Optional de-identification to generate safe output for export, review, or downstream use.

Who it is for

Built for organizations that manage sensitive healthcare data and operational documents.

Airgap Health is designed for teams whose day-to-day work involves clinical notes, intake forms, faxes, pharmacy paperwork, and regulated operational records.

Senior housing

Independent living, memory care, and continuing care communities managing resident records and operational paperwork.

Long-term care providers

Skilled nursing and post-acute operators working through shift notes, incident reports, and compliance documentation.

Physician practices

Primary care, multi-specialty, and group practices routing referrals, consults, and clinical summaries.

Specialty clinics

Behavioral health, dental, dermatology, and other specialty teams processing patient documentation.

Pharmacies

Retail, long-term care, and specialty pharmacies handling prescriptions, prior auths, and patient correspondence.

Any PHI-heavy operation

Any organization that handles protected health information and needs more control than public AI tools provide.

The common thread: document-heavy workflows where who accessed what — and how output was produced — actually matters.
Core workflow

From document to structured output.

A predictable four-step process. Users work from task templates, not an open prompt — so outputs are consistent and reviewable.

STEP 01

Upload

Bring in PDFs, images, scans, or text. OCR runs automatically on images and scanned pages.

STEP 02

Select a task

Choose from task-based templates — summarize, extract, draft, or categorize — tuned for healthcare operations.

STEP 03

Configure

Pick a model appropriate for the task. Write your prompt, or use Enhance Prompt to refine it before running.

STEP 04

Review output

Receive a structured summary, extracted data, draft text, or operational guidance — reviewable and exportable.

What users actually do

Inputs
PDFs, images, scans, typed text. OCR is performed where needed; source files remain linked to the output for traceability.
Task templates
Pre-built, not open-ended. Users select a template that matches the task — summarize a clinical note, extract follow-ups, draft an incident report, pull fields from a referral.
Model choice
Different models for different tasks. Swap between models based on the work — extraction, summarization, reasoning — so output quality matches the task, not the other way around.
Enhance Prompt
Guided input improvement. Before running, users can have their prompt refined for clarity and specificity — a practical way to get better output without requiring prompt-engineering skill.
Outputs
Structured summaries. Extracted data (tasks, dates, follow-ups). Draft documentation. Operational guidance. Every output is tied back to the source document and the user who produced it.
Capabilities

What the workspace includes.

The features teams actually use — ingestion, model selection, audit trails, and file retention — in a single controlled environment.

Document ingestion

PDF, image, and scanned-document support with built-in OCR. Files and extracted text remain linked for review.

PHI-aware processing

A controlled environment for documents containing protected health information, isolated at the organization and user level.

Prompt enhancement

Guided input improvement that refines prompts before the model runs — producing more usable, specific output.

Model selection

Pick a model appropriate for each task. Different workloads — extraction, summarization, drafting — benefit from different models.

Audit logging

A structured record of who accessed what, when, and what action they took — across users, files, and outputs.

Access history

Per-file and per-user history showing uploads, processing events, and retrievals — ready for internal review.

File retention controls

Store files securely with retention rules you define. Delete specific files or clear data on demand.

Organization isolation

Workspaces are scoped to your organization. Users, files, and activity never cross tenant boundaries.

Role-based access

Account-based authentication with role controls so the right users see the right files and activity.

Differentiator

PHI handling options.

When a workflow needs to leave the controlled environment — for review, export, or downstream use — Airgap Health can produce de-identified output.

Process documents and remove PHI.

Run a document through Airgap Health with PHI removal enabled. The system produces a de-identified version of the text so the output can be safely reviewed, exported, or used downstream without carrying protected identifiers forward.

This is useful for team training, external review, analytics, and workflows that do not need the underlying identifiers to be present in the output.

  • Original documents stay in the controlled workspace. De-identification happens on the output layer.
  • De-identified text output is generated from the processed document for safe sharing or export.
  • Safe download of processed data so teams can route outputs into other systems without re-exposing identifiers.
  • Every de-identification run is logged alongside the user, source file, and timestamp.
Secure collaboration

Share, analyze, and act on the same file.

Airgap Health connects to our existing secure messaging and file-sharing platform so a document, its analysis, and the resulting next-step guidance live in one thread.

Move from received file to actionable next step — without leaving a secure environment.

Teams can share a patient file securely, run AI-assisted analysis against that file in Airgap Health, and generate structured next-step guidance that stays attached to the thread. Track access and activity across users and files as work moves forward.

Built on our secure healthcare platform at dexzyle.com.

1 Share a patient file securely
2 Run AI-assisted analysis on that file
3 Generate next-step guidance
4 Track access and activity on the record
Forward looking

Designed to integrate with existing healthcare workflows.

Healthcare operations run on a mix of modern systems and older ones. Airgap Health is built to connect into both.

Inbound

Fax ingestion

Fax is still how a meaningful share of healthcare documents arrive. Inbound fax can be routed into the workspace for OCR and processing.

Systems of record

EHR integration potential

Structured outputs are designed to be consumed by existing EHR and operational systems rather than locked in a separate tool.

Outbound

Store or transmit outputs

Outputs can be stored for audit, exported for review, or routed downstream to other systems once a workflow is ready.

What this is, what it isn't

A deliberate tool for a specific job.

Airgap Health is narrow by design. The goal is usable, accountable document processing for healthcare operations — not a general-purpose AI platform.

Generate structured outputs from clinical and operational documents.

Summaries, extracted fields, drafts, and guidance — tied back to the source file and the user who produced them.

Track access and activity across users and files.

Uploads, processing events, de-identification runs, and retrievals — all visible for internal review.

Controlled processing environment for sensitive documents.

Organization-scoped workspaces, role-based access, retention controls, and deletion on demand.

Task-based templates over open chat.

Users choose a template for the work in front of them. Outputs are structured, consistent, and reviewable.
